A Brewing Method Rooted in Patience
Some things in life are best unrushed.
The pour-over method is a quiet reminder that taking our time yields something beautiful—in coffee, in prayer, in life.
This method allows for precise control over extraction, bringing out delicate flavors and aromas that might otherwise be lost.
With each careful pour, you’re not just making coffee—you’re crafting an experience.
Recommended Grind & Roast
🔹 Grind: Medium
✔ Like table salt, allowing the water to flow steadily for even extraction.
🔹 Best Roasts: Light to Medium
✔ These roasts highlight nuanced flavors and aromas.

How to Brew Pour-Over Coffee
☕ Step-by-Step Brewing Guide
✔ Measure your coffee → Start with 2 tablespoons of medium-ground coffee per 6 ounces of cold, filtered water. Adjust as needed for taste.
✔ Boil the water → Let it rest for 30 seconds before pouring—this ensures the right temperature for proper extraction (195–205°F).
✔ Prepare the dripper → Place a coffee filter in the dripper (like a Hario V60, Chemex, or Kalita Wave) and rinse it with hot water to remove any papery taste.
✔ Add your coffee grounds to the filter, leveling them for an even brew.
✔ Bloom the coffee → Pour just enough hot water over the grounds to saturate them, then wait 30–45 seconds as the coffee “blooms”, releasing gases and unlocking flavor.
✔ Pour slowly in circles → Using a steady hand, pour the remaining hot water in a slow, circular motion, allowing it to pass evenly through the grounds.
✔ Let it drip → Allow the coffee to filter through into your mug or carafe. The process takes about 3–4 minutes.
☕ Breathe It In
☕ The scent of fresh coffee is an invitation to awaken—not just the body, but the soul.
That’s why we encourage you to pause and enjoy your coffee before drinking by smelling it and thinking:

✔ Enjoy your handcrafted cup, appreciating the depth and clarity of flavors.
Why Pour Over?
Pour-over brewing invites patience and precision, giving you more control over the flavor, strength, and clarity of your coffee.
☕ Refined Taste → The slow pouring method extracts subtle flavors and aromas that might be muted in other brewing styles.
☕ Clean and Crisp → The paper filter removes most oils and fine particles, leaving behind a bright, crisp cup.
☕ Perfect for Lighter Roasts → This method brings out floral, citrus, and honeyed notes, ideal for single-origin or nuanced blends.
A Lesson in Stillness & Intention
In the same way that prayer requires stillness and intention, the pour-over method calls for a deliberate, mindful approach.
☕ Each careful pour, each pause, and each breath in between reminds us that the best things in life take time, care, and attention.
So as you sip, remember:
📌 Greatness is often found in the quiet, intentional moments. Take them in. Savor them. And let them draw you closer to something greater.
