The modern hero of our times, Saint John Paul II’s bold holiness and dedication to the Church earned him the title “The Great.”

Entering the seminary during a time of religious persecution in Poland, John Paul II risked his life to pursue his vocation, living out his famous cry to “be not afraid!” Often writing, hiking, and skiing, even during a long and eventful papacy, Saint John Paul II demonstrated to millions the joy and vitality that accompanies a life fully in
pursuit of Christ.
